You may register online or by mail. Seating is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations will not be accepted by phone.
ICI members (including independent directors) may register for the conference beginning March 31, 2010.
Nonmembers may register for the conference beginning April 5, 2010.

*Associate members are limited to one conference registration at the member rate.

A notice of confirmation will be emailed within 24 hours for online registrations, and within 10 business days for registrations with check payment.
Cancellations received by April 8, 2010, will be subject to a $150 administrative fee. Notices of cancellation must be received in writing. After April 8, 2010, we regret that no registration fees can be refunded.

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is located on historic Pennsylvania Avenue in the heart of Washington, DC. The International Trade Center is easily accessible from three major international airports: Reagan Washington National, Dulles, and BWI. The Federal Triangle metro stop (orange/blue lines) is located onsite, and the Metro Center metro stop (red line) is just two blocks away. For drivers, an underground garage provides parking for 2,000 cars.

Security Information: Please note that attendees entering the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center must present a government-issued photo ID at a security checkpoint. Attendees will proceed through magnetometers, and belongings are subject to X-ray screening upon entrance.

Registration for this program is closed to members of the media.
CONFERENCE CHECK-IN
The ICI registration desk will be located in the pre-function space of the Rotunda of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Registration will open at 9:00 a.m. on April 14.
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE)
The Jones v. Harris: Impact and Implications Conference program has been approved by the State Bar of California for CLE credit. Application for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) approval will be submitted by ICI to Illinois and Pennsylvania. This program should qualify for approximately 4.5 hours of CLE credit. Because the credit requirements vary from state to state and are governed by different regulatory agencies, we suggest that you contact your governing body to learn if this program meets your individual requirements.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (CPE)
Upon completion of the Jones v. Harris: Impact and Implications Conference program, each participant will be eligible for approximately 5.0 hours of CPE credit.
The Investment Company Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Learning objectives: To evaluate the implications for mutual funds, boards, and advisers of the Supreme Court’s decision in Jones v. Harris. Provide interactive discussions about the Court’s opinion, implications for the 15(c) process, and the litigation horizon for Section 36(b) and other cases.

FINANCIAL AID POLICY
ICI will make full or partial scholarships available for Institute conferences to lawyers and law students experiencing financial hardships. Under this policy, a financial hardship is defined as having an income of $35,000 or less.
No income: Full discount
Income below $35,000: 50% discount
Income above $35,000: No discount
To apply for financial aid, please submit a completed registration form, along with a letter stating your interest in attending the specific program. Law students must include a copy of their current student ID card. All requests for financial aid must be submitted seven days prior to the start of the conference. Once your materials are received, ICI will review and respond to you as to whether or not you have been approved for financial aid.
