REGISTRATION INFORMATION
You may register online, or you may complete the registration form and return it to the applicable address noted below. Conference policy allows up to two individuals from associate member firms to attend at the member rate. Registrations will not be accepted by telephone.

*This rate applies to independent directors/trustees of ICI member funds. A volume discount may apply if three or more independent directors/trustees from one fund complex pay for and attend the conference. **This fee allows guests to attend the Tuesday evening reception and dinner only.

Note: Payment for registration must accompany all registration forms. Do NOT send a registration form in advance of mailing a payment. Registrations received without payment information will not be processed.
Confirmation will be emailed within five (5) business days for online registrations and within 10 business days for registrations with check payment.
Cancellations received on or before September 24, 2012, will be subject to a $150 administrative fee. Notices of cancellation must be received in writing. After September 24, 2012, we regret that no registration fees can be refunded.
HOTEL RESERVATION INFORMATION
Attendees may make reservations at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park at the special conference rate of $272 (plus tax) based upon availability.
- The hotel will NOT accept reservations over the telephone for hotel rooms at the conference rate. All reservations and modifications to existing reservations must be made online in order to receive the conference rate. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.
- You will receive an acknowledgment of your hotel reservation via email.
- Hotel reservations must be made by September 6, 2012, to ensure the special conference rate.
TO MAKE RESERVATIONS
- Reservations at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park are now available online.
- Once you have made your hotel reservations online, a confirmation number will be sent to you. Please keep this confirmation number for your records. You will also need it in order to modify or cancel your existing reservation.

CPE/CLE CREDIT
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (CPE)
Upon completion of the 2012 Fund Directors Conference, each participant will be eligible for eleven (11.0) hours of CPE credit.
Learning Objectives: To provide information to the investment company independent director community about current topics of interest, including regulatory, legislative, and judicial developments and what they mean for funds and their boards, management’s perspective on the opportunities and challenges for the fund industry, the eurozone and other financial crises, and effective board practices.
Program Level: Basic
Delivery Mode: Group Live Course
No prerequisites or advance preparations are necessary for this conference.
The Investment Company Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE)
This program has been approved by the State Bar of California for CLE credit. Application for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) approval will be submitted by ICI to Illinois and Pennsylvania. This program should qualify for approximately 8.5 hours of CLE credit. Because the credit requirements vary from state to state and are governed by different regulatory agencies, we suggest that you contact your governing body to learn if this program meets your individual requirements.

ICI'S FINANCIAL AID POLICY
ICI will make full or partial scholarships available for Institute conferences to lawyers and law students experiencing financial hardships. Under this policy, a financial hardship is defined as income of $35,000 or less.

To apply for financial aid, please submit a completed registration form, along with a letter stating your interest in attending the specific program. Law students must include a copy of their current student ID card. All requests for financial aid must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the start of the conference. Once your materials have been received, ICI will review and inform you whether or not you have been approved for financial aid.

Registration for this program is not open to members of the media.
