New Members Named to Independent Directors Council Governing Body

Washington, DC, October 2, 2009 - The Governing Council of the Independent Directors Council (IDC) recently elected four new members to each serve two-year terms. 

IDC serves the fund independent director community by advancing the education, communication, and policy positions of fund independent directors in the U.S.  Its activities are led by the Governing Council.  Michael Scofield, independent chair of Evergreen Funds, is chairman of the Governing Council.

The newly elected Governing Council members are:
